Thank you! Thank You! Thank you!

We have been so blessed by an outpouring of support for this trip. So many people have stepped up and graciously given of their time, their money, their talents & their prayers. We are so thankful that the Lord has used the people to help us get to Guatemala.

Monday night was our big Chick-fil-a fundraiser in Flower Mound. We had such a great night. It was so great to see the support of our church and community coming out and supporting what we are doing. We got tha opportunity to share with people from our church & the local area about what we would be doing in Guatamela and why it is so important.

Kimberly & Evy (wife & mother in law of Clay) hanging out by the fire truck!

We also have a member of our team who works for Peirce, a fire truck company, who brought out a couple of demos, which drew a lot of attention and got people stopping in. Another team member braved the Chick-fil-a cow costume to help out with the fund raising.

At the end of the night we ended up raising just over $1000 which is AMAZING!

So a BIG thank you goes to Chick-fil-a for hosting our fundraiser and giving us 15% of their profits for those 2 hours, thank you to Well Coffee (www.wellcoffee.com) who hooked us up with some great coffee to sell which not only allowed people to support our trip, but also their ministry at the same time.

Obviously we thank Christ first and above all else for it is through Him that all things are possible. We have been humbled and thankful for this calling to serve & use our talents that He has given us to serve the Guatemalans in a new way. We are excited to see what the Lord will do through our trip.

Thank you to Matt Habern, who spent countless hours filming, editing & producing our training video that we will leave with the firefighters! The video turned out AWESOME!

Thank you to Carlos Zazueta from Stonebriar Church who translated our narration from the video for hours and allowed us to dub the video in Spanish.

And obviously thank you to our friends & family who have been so incredibly supportive through prayers and donations!
